Book Tour Season Is Winding Down & New Books Come to Town
Tree Shadow Press authors have been very busy since late Spring with book signings throughout Western Pennsylvania. They participated in book festivals, craft & gift shows, farmers' markets, and writing conferences, as well as some scheduled library talks. As we enter the end of October, our focus is shifting to recent and upcoming new books. CELEBRATE: A Collection of Life's Celebrations was released in early October. It is an anthology with over 40 stories and poems from over 20 contributors. With so much negativity in the world, we at Tree Shadow Press wanted to produce a book that shares stories that celebrate life's true joys, triumphs, and traditions. Currently available in our Book Shop and on Amazon.
We are nearing a release of a poetry collection by Megan E. Vance, Praises and Ponderings from a Poet's Path. The author shares her words and thoughts about her journey through faith and daily life. It will be available in our Book Shop and Amazon in time for Holiday gift giving. We are actively working on three other projects. Each is a third book published for Tree Shadow Press by their respective authors.
Cousins at War is the third book in the Toe the Mark series about the Civil War by Ruth Ochs Webster. In it she relates a well-researched story of some of her ancestors and the decisions they had to make as well as the consequences of those decisions. Four young men. Brothers. Cousins. Different choices. Different outcomes. Coming soon!
Death Stalks the Forest is the third installment of the Death Most Unholy series by David Q. Hall. Popular characters Rev. Danny Hendricks and his long-time friend "Tiny" Jones return to page and find themselves wrapped up in another mysterious murder investigation. Additionally, another collection of short "Nightmare" stories by Kerry E.B. Black is in its preliminary stages. This one has the working title of Fairy Herds and Mythscapes. More details will be released as this project progresses. Our illustrators have been busy, too. We will be working on new picture books as they complete their artwork. Most of the new picture books will be in English and Spanish, but some will only be in English.
These are exciting times here at Tree Shadow Press!
